More Convenient Testing Process

Patients experiencing symptoms related to RSV, influenza, and COVID-19 do not need a doctors’ order to get tested for those three ailments. Patients can pull up to the climate-controlled Drive-Thru, enter the building, and be conveniently tested from inside their own vehicle.

Individuals already signed up for the Patient Portal will typically have their test results loaded to their account the same day. For those with an established primary care provider, testing results will also be shared with their provider’s clinic office. Anyone without an established primary care provider will receive a phone call with their results from a MDH staff member.

Patients will have to contact or schedule an appointment with their primary care provider for a prescription covering any medicine not available over-the-counter.

The MDH Drive-Thru is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Sunday the Drive-Thru is closed but those who need a lab blood draw can have that done at the MDH Convenience Clinic inside Health Services Building 2. Please bring a photo ID and insurance card when getting tested.
