Thank you for visiting the online information guide for McDonough District Hospital. Since 1958, MDH has been a pillar of the community. Our 113-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Macomb, Illinois, provides an impressive spectrum of advanced  medical treatments and personalized health services.   

Our quality services are evident by our accreditations, certifications, and patient satisfaction scores which endorse our expertise. Throughout its history, MDH has responded to the needs of the residents of west central Illinois. Each new service, expansion, and purchase of technologically-advanced equipment has been in response to community needs.

Our current project involves expansion of the laboratory, creation of a west stairwell and elevator, and remodeling in Radiology for the addition of Digital Mammography. Anticipated completion is late 2010.
