The Cardiopulmonary department provides accurate diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with disorders of the cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular systems. We treat patients of all ages and needs, tailoring the procedure and education to meet the needs of each patient.

Our services are provided by highly trained Certified and Registered Respiratory Care Practitioners, and Registered Cardiac and Vascular Ultrasound Technicians credentialed in the field of Cardiopulmonary and Vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They play a vital role in the health of our community by performing diagnostics tests and treating people suffering from heart, lung and vascular problems.

Description of Service

Treats inpatients and outpatients of all ages and abilities, tailoring the procedure and education to meet the needs of the patient. Patient, family and public education is provided.

Diagnoses may include:

  • Acute respiratory failure, acute cardiac events, evaluation of cardiac status, acute peripheral vascular events, evaluation of chronic peripheral vascular insufficiency, obstructive sleep apnea
  • Exacerbation of chronic respiratory diseases such as; asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis
  • Acute respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia and croup
  • Other such related diagnoses

Diagnostic activities may include:

  • Tests and studies of the cardiac, pulmonary, peripheral vascular systems and performing polysomnography (sleep) studies.
