About Dr. Yurevich

Dr. Yurevich loves to learn. That’s what drew him to cardiology and to the complex specialty of cardiac electrophysiology (EP). There is always something new to learn.

In addition, he finds fulfillment in the immediate impact his care can have on a patient’s health.

“It’s a specialty where you see results right away. After I ablate someone’s arrhythmia (a procedure to fix irregular heartbeat signals), the patient leaves the EP Lab with a normal heart rate. It feels good for them and for me. You see an immediate effect.”

When not in the EP Lab helping people with a heart rhythm disorder, Dr. Yurevich enjoys fishing and tickling the ivories. That’s right. He is a piano player.

“I am not a beginner, but I am not advanced either,” the doctor says of his musical skills. “I’m somewhere in the middle.”

He and his wife have passed on the love of music to their son, who began playing the piano when he was 5 years old.

Dr. Yurevich comes from a medical family. Both his parents and his brother are physicians.
