• Cardiopulmonary Care – Our cardiopulmonary department features an accredited vascular lab (ICAVL) and a sleep lab accredited by The Joint Commission. Additionally, our cardiac rehabilitation program is certified by the AACVPR. 
• Medical Laboratory – The MDH laboratory holds accreditations from the College of American Pathologists and the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments for a dedication to precise and reliable diagnostics. · 
• Radiology – The radiology department is accredited by the American College of Radiology, specifically for our advanced mammography services. 
• Surgical Care – Our surgery department has been honored with the Gold Level Go Clear Award for its efforts to eliminate hazardous surgical smoke.

• Chronic Disease Support – MDH offers a recognized Diabetes Education Center accredited by the American Diabetes Association. 
• Home Health and Hospice Services – Accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health, our home health and hospice services offer compassionate and compliant care.

MDH has been designated as a “Memory and Aging Network” site for the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease by Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

The Cardiopulmonary Department boasts an accredited vascular lab by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) and accredited Sleep Lab by the Joint Commission.

The MDH Diabetes Education Center is a recognized program by the American Diabetes Association.

The Emergency Services Department is designated as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program.

Home Health and Hospice are Medicare-Certified, Licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health, and Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.
