Industrial Rehabilitation
MDH Industrial Rehabilitation is a program that offers specialized services
to address the needs associated with work-related activities and injuries.
Conditions Treated
We provide assistance with injuries that happen on the job. The most common
of these are:
- back injuries
- shoulder injuries
- knee injuries
- wrist and hand injuries including carpal tunnel syndrome
- repetitive use injuries
Services and Elements of Treatment
- Pre-work/Post-offer evaluation (i.e., lifting, standing, etc.)
- Work hardening
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Assistive Technology
- Job station analysis/ergonomic assessment
- Injury prevention education
- Work conditions
Goal
The goal of Industrial Rehabilitation is to prevent work-related injuries
and return the injured worker to productive employment as soon as possible.
