MDH Announces Three Leadership Additions

MACOMB, Ill. – McDonough District Hospital announced two staff hires in leadership roles, bringing a pair from the east coast to Macomb.

Gloria Bamforth, MBA joined the hospital as Vice President of the MDH Medical Group. Nicole Dziuba, PharmD, accepted the Director of the Community Pharmacy position. Joshua Stinocher, who had served as a Buyer within the Purchasing department at MDH, was promoted to Director.

Bamforth has worked for Frederick Health in Frederick, Maryland, in various leadership roles since 1997. For the past 14 years she worked as the Director of Operations and also served on the medical group’s leadership team. She served on Frederick Health’s Development Council and was a member of the Frederick County Chamber Board of Directors.

She also worked as a regional account manager at Frederick Health and previously at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown, MD.

She earned her Master of Business Administration degree (with a specialization in Health Care Administration) from the University of Baltimore and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She has a certificate in Accounting from UMBC and is a Society of Human Resources Management-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Bamforth is currently completing course work and research for a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Hood College.

“Gloria brings a wealth of experience as an administrator working with medical groups. We were impressed with her and the ideas she shared on how to move MDH forward,” said interim Chief Executive Officer Bill Murdock. “We wanted to hire someone with strong communication skills, who works collaboratively across all departments of a healthcare organization, and brings forward-thinking ideas to the organization. Gloria checks all of our criteria, and we look forward to her and her family joining our Hospital and the Macomb community.”

Dziuba will oversee the hospital’s newest facility and service line addition – the community pharmacy. She brings a track record of supervising multiple staff members and increasing prescription volumes and revenue.

She joins MDH after spending the last five years working at Guardian Pharmacy in St. Petersburg, Florida, as a long-term care consultant pharmacist.

During her time working at Guardian, she was appointed a customer service pharmacist and a team leader.

She also directed day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow as the Pharmacist in Charge at Benzer Pharmacy in Tampa.

Dziuba earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in New York.

“During our search for a Community Pharmacy Director, Nicole stood out among a strong candidate pool,” said Murdock. “Her extensive retail pharmacy background, along with her energy and excitement to lead our new venture, is what MDH needs as we enter the final construction phase and start preparing to launch this project.”

Stinocher joined the Hospital in May 2021 as a Buyer within Purchasing, focusing on: bids and purchase orders, managing inventory flow, working with non-competitive strategic contracts, and supplier agreements.

Prior to MDH he worked as a Patient Access Specialist at Memorial Hospital in Carthage and for three years as a Security Personnel at the TaxSlayer Center in the Quad Cities. He received his Associate in Applied Arts degree from Black Hawk College and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Management from Western Governors University.

“Since joining our team three years ago, Joshua quickly settled in within our Purchasing Department and has done a great job working with the staff and vendors on a daily basis,” said Murdock. “Joshua has earned this promotion to Director of Purchasing. He has been active participating in MDH events and has a bright future ahead with our Hospital.”
