MACOMB, Ill. - The McDonough County Health Department is announcing a new website, available and active today https://getyourcovidshot.com/
This informative website focuses on COVID-19 vaccine information ONLY.
Starting February 1, the McDonough County Health Department will begin vaccinating residents 65 and older and frontline essential workers.
As vaccine rollout continues next week, this informative page should alleviate some of the ongoing questions regarding the vaccine. For those 65 and older, or an essential worker and would like to receive the vaccine, people in those categories can book online and register. The MCHD is not allowing walk-in appointments.
Also, the MCHD will be launching a COVID-19 Call Center starting Monday (Feb. 1).
The Call Center will also provide question and answer opportunities with a live operator regarding the vaccine, and will assist in booking vaccination appointments.
The MCHD asks that the general public does not call its office to schedule an appointment but to use the website (currently available) or the Call Center (opening Monday). If appointments are full, please check back later for future clinics.
