MDH Drive-Thru to Temporarily Relocate Aug. 27-31

MACOMB, Ill. – McDonough District Hospital announced Tuesday (Aug. 24), the MDH Drive-Thru will temporarily relocate later this week.

A two-lane temporary tent, courtesy of McDonough County ESDA, will be located in front of the Westervelt House (near the current Drive-Thru) on the south side of the MDH campus, and will be in use from August 27-31. All the same Drive-Thru services will be offered and the hours of operation will remain the same: Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Final work on the Drive-Thru flooring was delayed until now due to the necessity of warmer temperatures. Work will take place over the weekend, then wait a 48-hour period before usage.

MDH will continue to offer the BinaxNow rapid antigen test for those needing a COVID-19 test, and patients do not need an order from their primary care provider to have one done. Turnaround time on finding out results for the BinaxNow rapid tests vary from 60-90 minutes.
