McDonough District Hospital has been providing health care services to the people of West-Central Illinois since 1958. We are proud to report a number of developments to demonstrate our commitment to quality care and customer service:

Our patient satisfaction scores have routinely exceeded state and national averages. We are in the process of making significant renovations to our facility. Improvements to our Surgery/Endoscopy area on the first floor are complete, providing more convenient access to outpatients and visitors. Our current project is underway and focuses on an expansion of our Laboratory; creation of a west stairwell and elevator; and improvements in Radiology including a new digital mammography unit. A new Emergency Department is envisioned for the future, as well as moving to a higher percentage of private patient rooms.

Our pledge to you is to not only provide hospital care, but to be a hospital caring. We continuously work to improve our services and to offer a safe patient care environment.
