As McDonough District Hospital begins its second half century of service to the people of West-Central Illinois, we are excited about a number of developments:

Our patient satisfaction scores have routinely exceeded State and National averages. We are in the process of making significant renovations to our facility. Our new Admitting/Registration, Cashier and Credit offices are complete. Improvements to our Surgery/Endoscopy area are underway. We are making plans to improve our Laboratory facilities. A new Emergency Department is envisioned for the future, as well as moving to a higher percentage of private patient rooms.

Our pledge to you is to not only provide hospital care, but to be a hospital caring. We continuously work to improve our services and to offer a safe patient care environment.
