COMMUNITY FIRST AID CLASS OFFERED FEBRUARY 3

McDonough District Hospital will offer a Community First Aid Class on Wednesday, February 3, at 6:00PM in Auditorium A, located on the lower level of McDonough District Hospital.

The First Aid course covers injury assessment, various medical situations, and safety and injury prevention. Learn up-to-date first aid knowledge that will help you respond appropriately and confidently to an emergency situation that could save a life. The class will cover adult, child, and infant first aid techniques.

The First Aid classes offered at MDH follow the National Safety Council guidelines and focus on remaining calm, performing proper first aid techniques, and obtaining medical assistance.

Pre-registration is required and there is a $25 fee for the course. A minimum of ten participants are necessary for the class to be held. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone having special needs should give advance notice when pre-registering for the course.
