MDH Provides Child Safety Class

McDonough District Hospital Obstetrics Department will offer a child safety class on Wednesday, February 18, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Auditorium B at the hospital.

The child safety class will focus primarily on newborns as it relates to car seat safety, poison and choking prevention, immunizations, child proofing your home, and Shaken Baby Syndrome. The class will be taught by Cindy McDaniel, RN, MDH Obstetrics. Certified child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate proper safety seat usage.
