MDH Goes Wireless For Visitors and Patients

McDonough District Hospital’s main building and Medical Arts building now have public wireless internet access for visitors and patients who want to keep in touch electronically with family, friends and work colleagues while utilizing MDH facilities.

“Visitors, patients and families who bring their own Wi-Fi capable devices such as laptops and PDAs, will be able to use the hospitals Wi-Fi to communicate electronically with others,” said Harlan Baker, director of information systems at MDH.

To obtain access to the wireless Public Wi-Fi system at MDH, users should check their wireless network settings on their device. They should find the wireless network signal named "pubwifi" and select to connect to this network as a public user.
