Josh Ginglen Aide Environmental Services
Congratulations Josh Ginglen, Environmental Services Aide, on being named the recipient of the MDH APPLE Award for June 2010. APPLE stands for "Achieving outstanding Performance in Patient care, Leadership, Loyalty and Enthusiasm for MDH."
Josh was hired on June 17, 2009 as an Environmental Services Aide. He is currently attending Western Illinois University as a full-time Biochemistry major with future career goals to become a Physician or Physician Assistant.
Josh is a team player and an asset to MDH. He has the desire to succeed at each challenge set before him. He strives to find a better way to get things done to make the process more efficient or to provide better customer service. Josh accepts responsibility for his assignments and projects with a willingness to do the job accurately and on time. His work is exceptional and done with pride.
With his outstanding skills, capabilities, intellect, and attitude, Josh is always a joy and a pleasure to work with. He is considerate and respectful of everyone. He continually offers to help his coworkers once he completes his assignments. He is always willing to do anything asked of him and does so in a cheerful manner. He demonstrates all of MDH’s core values.
His nominator states that Josh is always willing to help in any capacity which he can be utilized. He has locked doors for Public Safety, helped his co-workers in Environmental Services when they needed assistance, and even found scrubs for Emergency Room patients to wear. Josh is always polite to everyone he encounters. His nominator explains he is always willing to go the extra mile to make MDH a better place.
Josh enjoys playing golf, tennis and the guitar. He also enjoys playing PlayStation games and woodworking.
