MDH Home Health Care provides specialized medical care in your home. Home Health Care is ordered by a physician and planned around your individual health needs. Our qualified and experienced staff provides in-home medical care to a wide variety of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in need of nursing or therapy services.
MDH Home Health Care travels to your home within a large multi-county area to provide services. Our service map outlines the geographic area we cover, including all of McDonough County and portions of Fulton, Hancock, Schuyler, and Warren.
Our agency is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We have a registered nurse on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, available to talk over the phone or make a visit. MDH Home Health Care can even make the admission visits on weekends, holidays, or after hours.
MDH Home Health Care has a goal of keeping you at home. We have proven success by having better rates of improving walking, improving surgical wounds, and improving pain compared to other home care agencies in the nation.
Medicare and Medicaid cover home health services. In addition, Home Health Care is covered by most insurance plans, including HMOs and managed care organizations.
MDH Home Health Care is Medicare-certified, licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission.
The MDH Home Health Care office is located in the Medical Arts building
on the MDH campus, just east of the hospital.
