Fractal Art by Deb Lutz Featured in MDH Front Lobby Exhibit

Macomb--The McDonough District Hospital front lobby art, provided by Western Illinois University Art students and graduates, now features works by Deb Lutz. Deb is a resident of Good Hope, IL, and received her degree in Graphic Communications from Western Illinois University in 2005. Deb currently works as an office manager at WIU along with freelance contracts as a graphic designer.

The pieces showcased at MDH are known as Fractal Art. Fractals are endlessly repeating patterns that vary according to a set formula, a mixture of art and geometry. A Fractal is a pattern that reveals greater complexity as it is enlarged and can be a computer-generated image that graphically represents the behavior of a mathematical equation.
